Stuart D. Rosen is a Connecticut Superior Court judge. Before his confirmation in May 2018, Judge Rosen practice law for more than thirty-five years with Robinson & Cole LLP, Bingham McCutchen LLP, and Schatz & Schatz, Ribicoff & Kotkin LLP, specializing in complex business and insurance litigation.
Judge Rosen has served as an adjunct lecturer at UConn School of Law since 2012, co-teaching Insurance Litigation.
For more than twenty-five years he served as a commercial arbitrator for several leading arbitration organizations, including the American Arbitration Association, the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution, and the American Dispute Resolution Center. He was also appointed a special master master by the U.S. District Court in Connecticut and as an attorney trial referee and fact finder arbitrator by the Connecticut Superior Court.
Judge Rosen was recognized in Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation (2010-18), Real Estate Litigation (2012-18), and Banking & Finance Litigation (2013-18), and was named Lawyer of the Year for Hartford Real Estate Litigation (2013).
