Nick Pisarsky is Intellectual Property counsel for Brookstone. As IP counsel, Professor Pisarsky manages Brookstone's entire patent and trademark portfolio, provides clearance for new products during development, prosecutes patents and trademarks, manages the company's IP litigation, and makes strategic IP decisions for new products, including licensing. Professor Pisarsky was formerly an associate in the Hartford office of Day Pitney, where he focused his practice on matters involving a range of industries including life sciences, medical devices, electronics, and consumer products. Professor Pisarsky has represented plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement actions with patents covering medical devices, software, and mechanical and electronic devices and successfully defended clients against numerous patent infringement lawsuits from "non-practicing entities" both in federal court and the U.S. International Trade Commission. He holds a J.D. from the UConn School of Law and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rutgers University.
