Nancy Kennedy is an intellectual property attorney and partner with the Hartford firm, Alix, Yale & Ristas, LLP, where she focuses on domestic and international cyberlaw, trademark, copyright and trade dress matters. She is admitted to practice before the Connecticut state courts, Federal District Court and the United State Supreme Court. Professor Kennedy represents clients at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; the U.S. Copyright Office; and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Customs and Border Protection. She teaches Legal and Cultural Issues in Cyberspace at the Law School and has been Supervising Attorney at the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic.
