Joseph Busher is a partner with the Jackson O'Keefe and has been a member of the Connecticut bar for seventeen years. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross in 1993. He obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence with honors in 1996 from the UConn School of Law, where he also received the Cornelius W. Wickersham, Jr. Award for Constitutional Law and the American Jurisprudence Award for Constitutional Law. Professor Busher has a wide range of litigation experience. As a CLM litigation management professional he searches for creative, quick resolution, case-appropriate strategies in all litigated matters. His litigation experience includes personal injury, property damage, construction defect, and insurance coverage matters. In addition, Professor Busher has a concentration in appellate practice, with the researching and drafting of over 45 briefs and appellate motions, and argument before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts. He has received a B-V rating from Martindale-Hubbell (High to Very High legal ability rating and Very High general ethical standards rating). Professor Busher has been recognized as a Connecticut Super Lawyer by publisher Thomson Reuters continuously since 2006.
