John Kalinowski is a teaching fellow with the Legal Practice Program and coach for the Mock Trial Society, Negotiation and Dispute Resolution Society, and Moot Court. Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Kalinowski worked as a trial attorney with the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Practice in New York City, where he defended clients in New York City Criminal Court and the New York State Supreme Court. He litigated a wide variety of misdemeanor and felony cases. In addition to his official responsibilities at the Legal Aid Society, Professor Kalinowski regularly volunteered to teach know-your-rights workshops for community organizations, schools and libraries throughout New York City. He earned his JD from Pace University School of Law, where he was a member of the Pace Law Review Editorial Board.
