Professors An-Ping Hsieh and Minor Myers will host a conversation about how a CEO and general counsel work together. The guest speakers are James M. Loree, president and chief executive officer of Stanley Black & Decker, and Janet M. Link, the company's senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
James M. Loree
Loree joined Stanley Works as chief financial officer in 1999. The company merged with Black & Decker in 2009 and now has $13 billion in annual revenue, with more than 58,000 employees in 60 countries. Loree has been CEO since 2016.
Janet M. Link
Link joined Stanley Black & Decker, where she is responsible for all legal and corporate complicance matters, in 2017. She was previously General Counsel at the J.C. Penney Company and a partner at Latham & Watkins LLP.
