Monday, April 15, 2019 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

Human Rights and Social Justice, picture showing buildings in Palestine Please join the Human Rights Law Association and Middle Eastern Law Students Association for a conversation about the human rights abuses stemming from the Israeli occupation. Speakers will share historical evidence and first-hand experience of their recent trip to Occupied Palestine and Occupied Syria (Golan Heights). We will discuss the competing narratives of what happened in Israel and Palestine from 1948 to the present, uncover the truth from propaganda and understand the current humanitarian crisis facing the Palestinian people, and what we in the U.S. can do to address it.
