The University of Connecticut will observe Constitution Day with "The Importance of a Free Press for U.S. Democracy, A Roundtable Discussion" on Monday, September 17, 2018, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hartford Public Library, 500 Main St, Hartford. The discussion brings together UConn Law Professors Molly Land and Richard Wilson with Professors Marie Shanahan (Journalism) and David Yalof (Political Science). They will discuss the importance of a free press for U.S. democracy. Professor Michael Lynch will serve as moderator.
