Description:

UConn's Student Animal Legal Defense Fund will be hosting an event to provide expert information on the investigation and prosecution of animal cruelty cases in Connecticut. State prosecutors, animal control officers, legal experts and veterinarians will offer advice on how to effectively handle cases from start to finish, including use of Connecticut’s new Desmond’s Law.

Cost:

Free for students, $20 for veterinarians, animal control officers, and practicing attorneys
