The session will focus on the basics of researching and drafting a long paper, including research plans, sources, and organization of a paper (Introduction, Background, Analysis). We will also discuss the purpose of a scholarly paper, and how to narrow your thesis. This session is one way for students to satisfy the school’s UCWR requirement (for JD students who commenced on/after Fall 2016) that you attend a research review class before submitting a first draft.
