ABOTA Civility/ Professionalism Seminar

The American Board of Trial Advocates is a national organization of experienced trial lawyers and judges who are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided in the U.S. Constitution.  ABOTA seeks to “elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession”. This seminar is called “Civility Matters” and it is intended for all practicing lawyers, but, particularly important for law students who frequently have some misconceptions about behavior and strategic disadvantages.  There will be a panel discussion among judges and both plaintiff and defense lawyers.  Short video clips will be shown  to direct and encourage discussion.

Introductions will be made by Dean Cordiano, President, Connecticut Chapter of ABOTA & General Counsel of Loureiro Engineering Associates.
