Access to Justice: The Right to Counsel in Civil Cases

Please join the American Constitution Society as it welcomes Professor Russell Engler of New England Law to speak about the right to counsel in civil cases and what this means for the indigents' access to justice. Professor Engler serves on the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission and the Boston Bar Association’s Task Force on Expanding the Civil Right to Counsel. In 2013 he was appointed to a new Boston Bar Association Statewide Task Force on Civil Legal Aid.

There will refreshments available from 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Professor Engler's remarks will begin at 6:00 pm with time for questions from the audience at the end of his remarks.
