The Black Law Students Association is pleased to present "Freedom: In 3 Acts" at its Night of Inspiration 2014.
This work is an original piece developed by Bated Breath Theater Company and inspired by The Amistad Center for Art & Culture's Emancipation! exhibit.
"Freedom: In 3 Acts" explores the emancipation of the slaves through song in three short, theatrical vignettes. The cast of Bated Breath will bring to life the struggle of escape on the Underground Railroad, the incredible journey of the Fisk Jubilee Singers, and the singular voice of Marian Anderson.
