This course will cover the essentials of insurance law and regulation, including its foundation in contract law, various lines of insurance and insurance federalism. Students will have regular opportunities to hone their writing skills with detailed and personalized feedback from the instructor, with the aim of honing skills in legal analysis and writing that will be transferrable to any topic in law. Enrollment is selective at the invitation of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. (Course description pending faculty approval.)
