Kevin J. O’Connor, a former senior U.S. Justice Department official and an honors graduate from the UConn School of Law, has been named to join the University’s Board of Trustees.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy this month appointed O’Connor, who is the former U.S. Attorney for Connecticut and former U.S. Associate Attorney General, to the UConn board. The appointment is effective immediately.
“I’m grateful to Gov. Malloy for this opportunity,” O’Connor said. “I look forward to serving with my fellow UConn trustees to help maintain and increase the excellence of our flagship university, an institution whose welfare is important to our state and to me personally as a proud graduate.”
