Checklist for Incoming Students

  1. If a student's FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) was not filed on the web last year (2007/2008), a PIN must be requested on the web (www.fafsa.ed.gov) as soon as possible. (School code: E00387)
  2. File the FAFSA on the web. Parent information should also be provided on the FAFSA if the student is applying for grant assistance and was born on or after January 1, 1985.
  3. It is important to review the Financial Assistance Application Instructions for all other requirements to complete your application for financial assistance.
  4. Financial aid is awarded separately for June Term classes. Summer applications for aid will be available in March 2009. Grant assistance is NOT awarded for June term classes.
  5. REMEMBER: The priority grant deadline is March 1, 2008 even if a student has not yet been accepted. Students who apply for grant assistance and submit all required forms after this deadline will be considered for grants based on available funding. If additional funding becomes available, late applications that were not awarded grant aid will be re-evaluated in October 2008.
  6. FINALLY: Use the following checklist on the reverse side of this form to be sure that your application is completed on time. Award letters will be sent to accepted students beginning mid-March.
