Description
The ABA Criminal Justice Section and the John Marshall Law School announce that the next National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy Competition will be held on March 25-27, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois. The trial problem involves a prosecution and defense of a person charged with the offense of being a felon in possession of a weapon. The Competition is limited to 20 teams. Each year up to 60 schools seek to be invited. The organizers try to accommodate schools that have not participated before, or that have not participated in recent years, as well as to achieve regional diversity. A form to apply for an invitation can be obtained from Prof. Mailly. The Competition's website is www.abacrimtrial.com.
