Big Y Scholarship applications are now available in the hall outside of the Student Finance Office, Starr Building, Room 116. There are over 300 scholarships totaling more than $250,000.
Big Y Scholarships are open to employees and their dependents; and customers and their dependents. To be eligible, a student's permanent residence or school must be located within the Western or Central Massachusetts, Norfolk County, MA or the state of Connecticut. (ALL employees are eligible regardless of residence.) Awards are given in the categories of High School Senior, Community College, Undergraduate, Graduate and Nontraditional Students (students not of traditional college age.) In addition, there are special scholarship series recognizing the contributions of area law enforcement officers and firefighters, as well as the tremendous sacrifices made by Military Servicemembers and their families.
