Student Mentor Programs

Women Law Students’ Association Mentor/Mentee Program

The Women Law Students’ Association (WLSA) provides the opportunity for first year law school students to be paired with an upperclass student who has had similar first year professors or who has a similar interest in law. The upperclass student mentor answers questions, gives advice and aids his or her student mentee throughout their first year in law school.

The WLSA mentor/mentee program is open to all students regardless of gender and mentors/mentees need not be members of WLSA in order to participate.

Upperclassman interested in volunteering to be a WSLA mentor to a first year student should contact the Women Law Students’ Association at WLSA@students.law.uconn.edu.
