On-Campus Employment

Students seeking on-campus employment whether through a federal Work Study Award or as a Student Laborer should visit the Student Employment Program Office located on the main floor of the Law Library. Job Opportunities available on campus are posted on the bulletin board inside the office. The Student Employment Program staff is also available to assist students in seeking on-campus employment.

Student employees work in a variety of settings at the Law School including the Law Library  and Information Technology departments, various administrative offices, and Facilities and Maintenance. Upperclass law students also often work as research assistants for faculty and as foreign language translators in the legal clinics.

Student should note that they must meet certain eligibility requirements in order to be employed by the law school and that those students with a federal Work Study Award typically have a wider range of opportunities for jobs on-campus. For more information, please visit the Student Employment Program website or contact the Student Employment Program office at (860) 570 - 5109.
