Academic Support Services

Advising:

Although there is no formal advising program, incoming students are strongly encourage to speak to faculty throughout their law school career about any questions they may have. Faculty are typically available to students during scheduled office hours, via phone or e-mail.

Academic Success Workshops:

Scared of phrases like “briefing a case,” “bluebooking” and “outlining?” Not to worry, Academic Success Workshops are designed to teach first year students the ins and outs of preparing and studying for law school classes and exams. Workshops are held in the evenings throughout the fall and spring semester and cover topics ranging from How to Brief a Case, Tips for Studying and Preparing for a Law School Exam and How to Land a Summer Job After Your First Year. For more information after the Academic Success Workshops please contact Professor Jennifer Mailly directly.
