Checklist for Incoming Students
- If a student's FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) was not filed on the web last year (2012-2013), a PIN must be requested on the web (www.fafsa.ed.gov) as soon as possible. (School code: E00387)
- It is important to review the Financial Assistance Application Instructions for all other requirements to complete your application for financial assistance.
- Financial aid is awarded separately for June Term classes. Summer applications for aid will be available in March 2013. Grant assistance is NOT awarded for June term classes.
- REMEMBER: The priority grant deadline is April 1, 2013 even if a student has not yet been accepted. Students who apply for grant assistance and submit all required forms after this deadline will be considered for grants based on available funding. If additional funding becomes available, late applications that were not awarded grant aid will be re-evaluated in October 2013.
- FINALLY: Use the following checklist to be sure that your application is completed on time. Award letters will be sent to accepted students beginning mid-March.
Immediate Checklist
- PIN number has been requested on the FAFSA website if PIN is not available from last year (2012-2013).

If such documentation is not submitted and/or it is determined that the taxpayer is NOT exempt from filing a tax return, the student will NOT be considered for tuition remission grant OR Federal Stafford Loans.
