International Students
There are several employment authorization steps which are specific to an individual student's citizenship and immigration status. International students must meet with Student Employment staff for guidance through the hiring process.
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 requires the verification of employment eligibility for all employees via the I-9 form. After accepting the tentative offer of a specific on-campus job opportunity, the student will be asked to present documents which verify identity and employment eligibility as required by law.
