Social Committee
The SBA Social Committee is responsible for organizing the social event schedule for UConn Law School. Events differ from year to year, but typically include a "Welcome Back Barbecue" with the Dean's office, a Halloween party, a St. Patrick's Day party, formal attire Fall Ball and Spring Fling galas, March Madness and (in even years) election watch nights, a holiday reception and a graduation party. The Social Chair (typically the SBA Vice-President) is often the primary contact with leaders from other UConn graduate programs, and collaborative events are sometimes held jointly with other schools. Although only elected SBA representatives may vote on social committee expenditures, all students are welcome to join the social committee as contributing members.
