Dual Degree Application
Students seeking enrollment in a dual degree program must first be granted separate admission into both programs. All requirements of each program must be fulfilled and dual degree candidates are required to complete both programs concurrently. The final award of transfer credit is contingent upon completion of both programs. As there are restrictions on the number of credits and which classes are applicable for transfer between programs, students should consult their advisors before registering for classes. No credits, in addition to those transferred to a student’s law record as prescribed by the dual degree agreement, may be transferred from another non-law school or university of higher education. Additionally, all students must comply with the rules regarding credit load limitations. When credits from both programs are combined, without prior approval from the Associate Dean, full time students may not exceed 16 credits and part time students may not exceed 11 credits per semester. Students should consult the advisor of the program or Office of the Registrar for additional information.
