Drop a Course With Permission Form

This form is only to be used to drop courses according to the following criteria:  (1) This request is after the add/drop period but within the first six weeks of the Fall/Spring Semesters, and (2) at the end of the add/drop period, the course was not oversubscribed (e.g.: at its maximum enrollment with a waiting list).   Please also note: First Year J.D. students may not drop required courses without the approval of the Petitions Committee or as provided by an approved accommodation request. This form is not to be used to add/drop summer courses. Those courses may be added provided that no more than one class meeting has been missed. Students may drop courses in the summer session (with the exception of Moot Court) through and including the sixth class meeting. Students should consider that there may be financial ramifications of add/dropping courses outside of the add/drop period.
