Robert S. Smith

Professor Smith holds his J.D. from New York University School of Law as well as a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He has decades of wide-ranging legal experience including in-house positions with North American Philips Corporation, Litton Industries, General Electric Company, and United Technologies Corporation, as well as private practice. As a mechanical engineer, Professor Smith worked for Airborne Instruments Laboratory, Pan American World Airways and United Technologies Corporation.

Professor Smith is admitted to practice in Connecticut and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
