On September 24, Professor Sara Bronin will deliver a lecture on "Solar Rights & Modern Lights" at a Georgetown Law Environmental and Land Use Research Workshop. Professor Bronin is an associate professor of law and the coordinator of the Gallivan Conferences in real property law. Professor Bronin has researched and published in the area of property, land use, and historic preservation law.

The event is an oral appellate argument presented by the Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals and will offer a look into the military appellate process.

John H. Durham '75, a veteran federal prosecutor, has been charged by U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder, Jr. with expanding the investigation Mr. Durham is conducting concerning the destruction of CIA videotapes of detainee interrogations to include a preliminary review into whether federal laws were violated in connection with the interrogation of specific detainees at overseas locations.
