Regional Exchange Programs
Exchange Program: Vermont Law School
The University of Connecticut School of Law has had a long standing agreement with Vermont Law School to permit students from each campus to visit the other for a period of one semester. Known for its presentation of an environmental law curriculum, Vermont Law School is home to a number of environmental institutes and clinical programs that offer students the opportunity for hands-on experience with current environmental issues.
To participate in the exchange program, students must rank in the upper-half of their class academically (exceptions to this must be approved by both the Deans of both law schools). Exchange students shall pay all tuition and fees to their home institutions but shall enjoy the same privileges and services as other students of the host institution. A maximum of two students per year from each law school shall be permitted to take part in the exchange program.
Students interested in this program should make this interest known to the Registrar up to two months in advance of the start of the semester to begin the administrative process.
