Evening Student LP Preference

Submissions for this form are closed.

As a first year student, you will be enrolled in Lawyering Process, a class that introduces you to some of the fundamental skills of the legal profession.  The first semester of Lawyering Process is a two-credit course that focuses primarily on legal analysis, legal research, and legal writing.

Evening Division Lawyering Process for the fall semester will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  We would like to know whether you have a preference for being placed in an early evening section of Lawyering Process (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. or from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.) or a later evening section of Lawyering Process (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.)  We will try to honor preferences for the earlier sections, but may not be able to accommodate all students who prefer those sections.  You will be taking Contracts on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and Civil Procedure on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., so if you elect one of the early evening sections of Lawyering Process, you will have the option of leaving campus by 8:30 p.m. on those days.

Please rank your preferences below no later than June 30, 2009.  Your Lawyering Process section assignment will be posted on the PeopleSoft Student Admin system by July 14, 2009.

If you have any questions, please contact Claudia Norsworthy by email or by telephone at (860) 570-5176.

We all look forward to meeting you in August.

Sincerely,

Jessica Rubin
Director of Lawyering Process
