    The RLG Union Catalog (formerly the RLIN Bibliographic File) is a comprehensive database which serves as a major union catalog for everything from books and serials to archives, manuscripts, maps, music scores, sound recordings, films, photographs, posters, computer files, and more. The Catalog extends from the advent of printing to the present, reflecting the collections of major research and academic libraries; archives and museums; law, medical, and theological libraries; art and music libraries; area studies collections; public and corporate libraries; historical societies and book clubs.
