Welcome to Connecticut Intellectual Property NotesFounded in 2004, Connecticut Intellectual Property Notes (CIPN) is an e-publication of the University of Connecticut School of Law. CIPN is staffed by UConn Law students, with Professor Steven Wilf serving as advisor. CIPN matches each student writer with a legal practitioner who has volunteered to assist in the creation of an article. The collaborating attorney provides the student with a topic, feedback on the writing, or both. Submissions are due four weeks after the match is made. These short articles (5-10 pages) are published on a rolling basis, and relate to topical IP issues. Articles should be written more in the style of a magazine or news piece than a traditional law journal submission.
