The UConn Law's Thomas J. Meskill '56 Law Library has been named by BestMastersPrograms.org as one of the 50 most amazing University libraries in the world. The list includes libraries at Oxford University, Free University (Berlin), the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale, and the Old Library at St. John's College of Cambridge University among others.

  • The Connecticut Law Tribune has recognized Mitchell Pearlman '70 with its Publisher's Award and former dean, Jeremy Paul, with its Service to the Profession Award.

  • Claire Howard '13 has won first place in the Connecticut Bar Association's Labor and Employment Writing Competition for her paper "An Emerging Protected Class: Employment Discrimination in Connecticut and Transgendered Persons."

  • On June 4, Interim Dean Willajeanne F. McLean was presented with the Honorable Robert J. Callahan Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award by the Connecticut Chapter of the Fordham Law Alumni Association. Dean McLean is a 1986 graduate of Fordham Law School.

  • Michelle Pacholec '13 and Megan A. Gentry '15 have been recognized as Outstanding Senior Women during a recent University ceremony honoring academic achievement.  

  • Chad Landmon '99 has been recognized by the University of Connecticut Honors Program with its 2013 Distinguished Alumni Award.

  • On May 9, Paul Arce '15, Odette Martins '15, Samem Jabarkhail '15 and Raymond Withers-Tong '15 were recognized by the Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity at a ceremony celebrating Edwin Archer Randolph.
