The UConn Law's Thomas J. Meskill '56 Law Library has been named by BestMastersPrograms.org as one of the 50 most amazing University libraries in the world. The list includes libraries at Oxford University, Free University (Berlin), the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale, and the Old Library at St. John's College of Cambridge University among others.

On June 4, Interim Dean Willajeanne F. McLean was presented with the Honorable Robert J. Callahan Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award by the Connecticut Chapter of the Fordham Law Alumni Association. Dean McLean is a 1986 graduate of Fordham Law School.
