On February 24, Professor Alexandra Lahav will be a panelist for "Aggregation and Mass Torts" at a conference sponsored by The Journal of the Federal Courts at Charleston School of Law.

Professor Lahav is an expert on complex litigation. She has published articles on class actions, mass torts and the political economy of civil litigation. She is especially interested in procedural justice and the limits of due process. She currently is working on a book exploring lawyer resistance and cooptation in injustice, in addition to projects on civil procedure and mass litigation.

  • For Jonathan Winter, finals week was a time to clear his mind, travel, and compete. That’s because throughout his time at the School of Law, Winter also was a competitive rower, representing the U.S. at events across the globe.

  • On May 23, Professor Joseph MacDougald will address the Connecticut Legislature's Shoreline Preservation Task Force where he will speak on identifying the problems municipalities face in addressing the statewide problem of coast storm erosion and sea level rise with only local tools.
