Professor Wilf teaches Criminal Law, Legal History, and a variety of courses in the area of Intellectual Property. After completing a dissertation focusing upon legal historical issues, he graduated with a Ph.D. in History from Yale University in 1995. Also in 1995, Professor Wilf received his law degree from Yale Law School. Prior to teaching at Connecticut, he has visited the University of Chicago as Fellow in Comparative Legal History; served as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit; and taught at Chicago-Kent College of Law. His publications have appeared in a number of scholarly journals, and include "Who Authors Trademarks?," Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal 17 (1999). He is currently writing a book on the history of American criminal law in the period of the American Revolution.
