Robert M. Casale


Attorney Casale graduated with honors from the John Marshall Law School, and later earned a master's degree from Harvard University. He served as an assistant state's attorney in Cook County (Chicago) Illinois and then as an assistant U.S. Attorney before relocating to Connecticut and starting his own practice. For the past 35 years, Attorney Casale has practiced (semi-exclusively) in the area of criminal defense, trying scores of major felony cases, including two federal death penalty cases in one calendar year. Presently, Attorney Casale is primarily involved in the defense of white collar criminal matters in both federal and state courts. Attorney Casale has been included in the Best Lawyers in America since 1986 and was selected as White Collar Lawyer of the Year for 2012. He has been named a Super Lawyer by Connecticut Magazine since 2006. He is also a 2009 inductee of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Top 100 Lawyers.
