Marcia Glickman, Lecturer in Law, teaches Advanced Legal Method for second-year students, runs workshops for first-year students and counsels students individually and in small groups as the Director of the Academic Success Programs. Marcia received her B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from Barnard College in 1989 with a major in American History and her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1993. Most recently, Marcia was the Deputy Director of Legal Writing at the National University of Singapore, where she taught torts, legal writing, legal method and advocacy for four and a half years. While in Singapore, she volunteered weekly in the Singapore Family Court as a divorce mediator. In addition to teaching, Marcia represents children as a member of Volunteer Lawyers for Children America. A member of the New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut Bars, Marcia's main areas of legal interest are child advocacy, education law, clinical teaching and mediation. The mother of four children, Marcia has daily opportunities to hone her alternative dispute resolution and debate skills.
