Executive Board and Cabinet

President - Marco Allocca
Marco is a 3L Day student.  He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Connecticut, Storrs in Psychology and Political Science with a minor in Sociology.  He has been a member of the SBA since his 1L year as a Representative.  Along with his responsibilities as the President of the SBA he is also the Symposium Editor of the Connecticut Law Review, Volume 44 and a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board.  He has a strong devotion to promoting the interests of the Student Body and hopes that he can continue the SBA's great tradition of student representation.

Vice President - Bethany DiMarzio
Bethany graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in International Business Management in 2009, and is currently a 3L at UConn Law. Bethany is an active participant in a variety of student organizations, including the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, Connecticut Moot Court Board, Mock Trial Society, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Now in her second year as an SBA officer, Bethany's goals are to support the SBA in its continued growth, and to assist student groups in their endeavors to improve student life and community development.

Chief Administrative Officer - Robby Canning
Robby is a second year day student graduating in 2013. After obtaining a history degree from Wake Forest University, Robby spent two years as a paralegal at a New York law firm. At UConn Law, Robby continues to pursue his interest in corporate and securities law through the Insurance Law Journal and a summer internship at an investment bank. In his spare time, he plays on the school hockey team, Capital Punishment, and assists with VITA, a non-profit that does low income tax preparation.

Chief Financial Officer - Michael Barrese
Michael is a third year law student and will be serving as a the Chief Financial Officer of the SBA. After graduating from Lehigh University in 2008 he spent a year working for a private equity firm in Hoboken, NJ. He has also been a member of the board of directors of a college scholarship fund for the past six years. He currently serves as the Assistant Managing Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and Vice President of the Mock Trial Society. Michael looks forward to his role as Chief Financial Officer in the 2011-2012 academic year.

Parliamentarian - Tamara Kramer
Tamara is a 2L day student with an interest in politics and children's advocacy.
