Course Information

During Orientation, students meet individually with the Director and Deputy Director to discuss their course selections for the semester. Initial registration choices may be changed after arrival. The first two weeks of each semester is the "add/drop" period for international students. Students use this time to attend the classes in which they are pre-registered and to decide if they want to take them for credit. They can also attend classes for which they are not registered to determine whether they would like to take these courses instead of the ones they have pre-registered for. The Registrar's Office assists students who decide to change their initial registration.  Exchange students typically take between 9-12 credits per semester.  Students must keep in mind that classes they may want to add may already be filled or closed. Once the add/drop period is over, students are responsible for these courses and exams and may not add any additional courses or drop any that they are registered for during that semester.
