Bob Whitman

Bob Whitman is a senior faculty member. He has been at the University of Connecticut School of Law since 1966. He is a member of the American Law Institute and the American Bar Association. He is committee chair of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section. He is active in the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel and is the chair-emeritus of the Law Professor Advisory Group for Trusts and Estates and the chair-emeritus of the Society for Trusts and Estates Practitioners New England Branch. Professor Whitman has been a Connecticut Commissioner to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws. He produces CLE programs nationally for ALI-ABA and ABA. Professor Whitman has taught American Legal History on a regular basis for ten years. As the course is taught, it presents students the opportunity to review fascinating materials and practice team oral presentations.
