This post from The Law Student Ally offers some advice to 1L’s about choosing a seat on the first day of class.
Since most professors will require you to remain in that seat all semester, the choice is an important one. The blog suggests that students arrive early on the first day of class to stake out a spot so that they don’t get stuck somewhere that makes them uncomfortable. And, they warn, what may have held true in undergrad is not necessarily true in law school.
