The Heritage Foundation recently hosted its annual “Scholars and Scribes” forum, where legal experts and journalists came together to review the most significant decisions of the 2011-2012 U.S. Supreme Court term.

The panel included Prof. Richard Epstein of NYU Law School, Solicitor General Donald Verrilli, and Howard Bashman, founder and editor of the How Appealing blog.

Featured cases included those involving the Stolen Valor Act, GPS tracking, the Arizona immigration law, and FCC indecency rules, as well as the Affordable Care Act.  The panel also debated the state of the court and what is likely to unfold next year.
