In a previous post, we noted that the University of Connecticut School of Law was named a "Best Value" law school by preLaw Magazine, the sister publication of The National Jurist. They have now ranked the top 20 schools and assigned a grade to the remaining 40. UConn has received an A- grade.
Schools were selected based on 4 criteria: 1) their bar pass rate is higher than the state average; 2) their average indebtedness is below $100,000; 3) their employment rate 9 months after graduation is 85% or higher; and 4) tuition is less than $35,000 a year for in-state residents.
