Free Summer Westlaw and Lexis Access for Students

By now most of you know that if you are working for a private firm this summer you will not be allowed to use your UConn student Westlaw and Lexis access.  And, not every private firm allows their interns or new associates access to those databases at firm expense.  We have a possible solution.

It’s not perfect but you can access Lexis Academic and Westlaw Campus for free.  These are not the full service databases you are used to but they do work. This is a short lesson on how to access these two databases from off-campus or on. Got VPN?  Find out what it is and how to use it to your advantage.

Getting Ready for Summer Library Lunch Sessions are short.  Each session is only 20 – 30 minutes long. There’s plenty of time for you to bring your lunch and spend a few minutes with us.

This is the last Getting Ready for Summer session for this year.  For all you who attended we hope that you enjoyed these short sessions and learned something that will help you this summer.  Don't forget that the Reference Staff is here all summer.  Reach us at our online chat from the Library main page or call us at 860-570-5068.
