
The Center for Tax Law and Employee Benefits at the John Marshall Law School has announced the Paul Faherty Tax Law Writing Competition.
A grand prize of $3,000 plus two honorable mentions of $1,000 will be awarded. The winning paper will also be posted on the law center’s website.
Any currently enrolled law student attending an ABA-accredited law school in the U. S. may enter. Acceptable topics include any aspect of tax law. Students are encouraged to submit a paper on a public policy issue; a critique of a leading doctrine or case; a comment on a statute or the need for statutory modification; or a comment on a common law doctrine.
