The question has been raised before, most notably during the depths of the downturn in 2009. You might be interested in looking at this post on law.com Legal Blog Watch from August 2009. We are heading into August 2010 and that post and the subsequent discussion are just as relevant as ever. Don't stop with the post itself. If you are really interested in this topic, read through all of the comments, many of which are right on point. Being a paralegal may not be as easy as you think and finding a job as one might not be a slam dunk.
