
A bill introduced in the current legislative session would require Connecticut state agencies to post their regulations on the internet. Representatives from business groups, the League of Women Voters, and the Connecticut Bar Association testified in support of the bill at a recent hearing before the Committee on Government Administration and Elections.
Connecticut is the only state in the country that does not require its agencies to post their regulations online. Under current law, agencies are exempt from publishing their complete regulations anywhere if they are too lengthy.
