Please join us for an evening of fun featuring both Live and Silent auctions, live music, refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. Proceeds to benefit the PILG Endowment held at the University of Connecticut Law School Foundation, Inc.
The Public Interest Law Group (PILG) is a student organization at the University of Connecticut School of Law that serves under-funded and disenfranchised communities. The Annual Auction is PILG's main fundraising vehicle and it raised nearly $30,000 last year. The money raised at the PILG Auction supports annual summer stipends for students working at a host of non-profits located both locally and internationally. Last summer, PILG summer stipends supported students who worked at organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union, the Children's Law Center, the Connecticut Urban Legal Initiative, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center.
The event continues to be a huge success, drawing together students, faculty, and professionals from the surrounding communities for an exciting evening.
