In Brown’s Wake: Legacies of America’s Educational Landmark by Martha Minow has just been added to the "new book shelf" on the library’s third floor. The book examines the impact that Brown v. Board of Education has had on schools beyond the issue of race alone. It explores how Brown has influenced religion in schools, school choice, the use of social science evidence pertaining to schools, and the educational treatment of immigrants, students learning English, poor students, and students with disabilities. It also looks at Brown’s influence beyond the United States.
