The “Companion Text” to Law School: Understanding and Surviving Life with a Law Student has just been added to the library’s new book shelf.
This book equips parents, partners, friends, and relatives of law students with the information they need to understand their student’s law school experience. It explains concepts that are unique to law school, such as the Socratic method and the single-exam format, and explores the psyche of the law student, including typical stressors and how law school can change students’ personalities. The book includes comments, anecdotes, and insights from real law students and their loved ones.
